What can I say about this gorgeous day!!! Maui and Michael traveled from Washington DC for their wedding at the Stirling Club in Las Vegas. Maui was a bridesmaid at Christiane and Gabe’s wedding in April (linked at the bottom), so it’s been fun getting to work with two couples this year who are at each other’s weddings!

Immediately upon arriving on the wedding day, I fell in love with the Stirling Club’s bridal suite! It was spacious, and the light was amazing! After getting photos of Maui’s gorgeous details, she had a champagne toast with her bridal party!

Next, I headed to the groom’s suite to see how Michael and his groomsmen were doing! The groom’s suite also had the coolest vibe! When I returned to the bridal suite, Maui got dressed with the help of her mother. Then it was first look time!

We did Maui and Michael’s first look on top of the grand staircase and took some portraits. One of the great things about having a first look is not only getting private time with your partner, but also getting wedding party photos out of the way before the ceremony. This was especially helpful with Maui & Michael’s large wedding party! I love a large wedding party because it’s fun for me to get creative with a big group of people!

Maui and Michael’s wedding ceremony was elegant with plenty of white florals, candlesticks, and the sun coming in behind them. They had a lot of fun with each other during the ceremony which led to lots of laughter and smiles from everyone. As they walked down the aisle as husband and wife, they stopped halfway down to do another kiss with a dip this time! They nailed it!

During cocktail hour, I took a few more portraits of Maui and Michael outside around the Stirling Club before we headed inside. Maui and Michael did a reception room reveal which they loved! Most couples don’t get to see their completed reception space before their guests are seated, so a reception reveal is a great way to get a good look at everything while it’s still perfectly in place! You both worked so hard to plan it all after all, so might as well get to see it first!

The wedding reception began with a bang with the wedding party carrying signs spelling out Maui & Michael’s newly shared last name! Their epic entrance was followed by their first dance made amazing by a fog machine! It was stunning! They enjoyed dinner and then incredible speeches from their maid of honor, best man, and a few family members.

Then the night really took off once the dance floor opened! Maui changed during the reception into a stunning sparkly number that was PERFECT for the dance floor which is basically where they remained for the rest of the night!

I’m so thankful to have been able to capture Maui and Michael’s stunning wedding day!
