I was so excited to be in Nashville in August to take Brittany and Charlie’s downtown Nashville engagement photos. Brittany and I go wayyyy back. We graduated high school in Ohio together. During the recessional at graduation we high-fived and held hands, NBD. But now there’s someone else holding her hand: Charlie. And I couldn’t be happier for her! 

Brittany and Charlie met on Hinge and on their first date meeting for coffee they talked for HOURS! They love living the downtown Nashville life. Espresso martinis are “their” drink because of their first date and they even have matching espresso bean tattoos. They love their blended fur family of their dog, Maya, and two cats, Jack and Diane. *Cue*  “A little ditty about Jack and Diane.”

Arrington Vineyards Engagement Photos

For their engagement session, they wanted two totally different vibes. So we started their engagement photos at Arrington Vineyards. Arrington Vineyards is about a 25 minutes drive south of Nashville. The grounds of Arrington are stunning with plenty of space and places to hang out while enjoying their wine! 

For Brittany and Charlie’s photos, we walked among the rows of grapes and had space all to ourselves. Their vineyard photos look like they should be on the cover of a sultry romance novel! I’m always a fan of a red dress, and died when I saw Brittany in hers! You can’t do engagement photos at a winery without trying out the wine, so of course we had some!

Engagement Session Downtown Nashville

After the winery, we headed into downtown Nashville. Brit loves the Nashville cityscape and we found the perfect parking garage with a great view of downtown! We got more *power couple* vibes with these photos and popped a bottle of champagne. To end their session, we headed to Printer’s Alley for one last look at a classic downtown location before calling it a night! 

I LOVED how Brittany and Charlie’s photos turned out! It’s always a special experience to photograph big life events for people I love!
