Your wedding album should reflect your one of a kind love. I’m also thinking about these photos being seen through the eyes of your loved ones - documenting the big moments and the little details in a way that generations to come will feel like they were right there with you.
i'm katelyn, a las vegas wedding and elopement photographer
At age 15, I photographed my first wedding with a camera that I borrowed from a friend. That one wedding was all that it took. I knew what I wanted to do forever.
The following years, I practiced and photographed every friend or family member that would let me – all through high school, 4 years in the Air Force, moving across the country, earning a degree in marketing – whenever I had the chance.
Throughout all of my life experiences, the states lived, the part-time jobs, growing in photography has always been a main focus. I bought my first "big" camera at 16, and I've had one at an arm's length ever since. It's been a quite the journey, but I've come a long, long way since that wedding I photographed at 15!

"From the moment I met Katelyn, I knew she was the right person to be the photographer for our wedding. Her vibe and professionalism shines through. We are not the best picture ready people but with Katelyn’s guidance she just gets you inspired and in the moment."
"We were amazed by all the details + moments she captured."

"Katelyn was absolutely amazing! For two awkward, non-photogenic folks, she made us look Instagram worthy 😅. We got our pictures sooner than expected also and they are a dream!"
"She made us feel comfortable right from the start."
Couples like Ashley and Edgar are my favorite. They giggled through their entire Mt Charleston engagement session, and we had a blast! These two met working retail together, and now they’re both on track to graduating nursing school in 2022. For their engagement session, Ashley and Edgar chose Mount Charleston! I love the greenery at […]
When you think about eloping in Las Vegas, the first thing that comes to mind are likely a tiny chapel, Elvis, and bright lights. That might not be your vibe, and that’s okay! Maybe you’re looking for something more on the nature-y side for your elopement. Las Vegas has a lot to offer in that […]
Waking up to a 5 am is tough, but is totally worth it. That sunrise light just hits different. Lina and David met on Tinder! They’re not my first Tinder couple, and will definitely not be my last. I love a good successful online dating story. Lina is from Washington, just like my husband, and […]
We only get a rare snowfall in Las Vegas, but that doesn’t mean I can’t bring you some inspiration for your winter wedding! For this shoot, we really wanted to show winter wedding couples some options when it comes to colors and decor. All of these amazing vendors came together with us (myself and Amber, […]
As soon as Sarah and Eric inquired with me, I knew we were going to be a match made in heaven. Sarah told me their love story, favorite things, and ideas for their 2022 wedding. I’ll save those juicy details for the wedding blog, but for now, let’s talk about their golden hour engagement session […]
Remember Angela and Kenneth’s engagement session at Death Valley? Their wedding was last month, and let me tell you, it was a dream. So excited to finally be sharing their beautiful day! After getting ready at The Lotus House, the wedding party and myself hopped on their party bus to head to Mount Charleston! I […]
