Travis and Ashley’s elopement was a long time coming. Ashley and I met online through mutual friends, and connected a bunch for a couple years, but never got a chance to meet up. So when Travis popped the question, she DM’d me excited to start planning her dream elopement!
These two picked one of the elopement locations that I’ve been dying to shoot for a while now, the Salt Flats! I was so excited that she trusted me to help her plan and put together her perfect day. Not to mention, this wedding was scheduled and planned within two weeks! Ashley spent 9 months deployed and she got shorter notice on the date she’d get home. Super frustrating for her when it came to planning, but I assured her that she just had to let me know when and where and I’d be there and it would be incredible!
Needless to say, the day was perfect. The Salt Flats were experiencing a lower air quality due to the smoke from California’s wildfires, but I think it added to the cool effect of this elopement location in Utah! The 6 1/2 hour drive was more than worth it, and the three of us had lots of fun taking portraits. Enjoy some of the highlights!
