how long will it take to receive my images?
My turnaround time is 4-6 weeks for wedding galleries, and 2-3 weeks for engagement/couples sessions. If you need your images quicker, feel free to let me know and we can add that onto your package!
do you provide raw images?
I do not provide raw or any unedited images. I work hard to deliver beautiful, finished images. Plus, you are hiring me for my style, which includes the way that I edit!
how many images will i get?
There are so many factors that go into how many images you receive. How many hours you have hired me for, if you have added a second shooter onto your package, and how much is going on! What I can tell you is that I don’t put a cap on how many images you get, so I promise that I deliver all the good stuff.
can i send you some images from pinterest that i want?
I don’t mind if you want to send me some examples of images that you like, because that will give me an idea of what you are hoping for out of your gallery. HOWEVER, please understand that this does not guarantee that you will receive these images.
would you call your approach more hands on, or documentary style?
My approach is, well, a bit of a mix! I like to “guide” my clients and create some natural, candid moments that way. So you don’t have to worry about knowing what to do in front of my camera because I will tell you, but you also don’t have to worry about looking stiff or super posey or anything. I also am always looking for the best light and backgrounds for each moment, so I may ask if you’d like to go put your makeup on over by that window, or cut your cake at a certain angle. Other than that, if magic is happening without me even saying much, I let it happen!
what’s your favorite thing to photograph at a wedding?
I love so much of a wedding day, but I can try to narrow it down to 2 favorite moments. One, when the groom sees his bride walking down the aisle (because duh) and two, the recessional! I love everyone’s happiness as the couple was just announced as husband and wife as they exit the ceremony. It always melts my heart.
what happens if you get sick or can’t make the wedding?
First and foremost, I want you to know that I take good care of myself and prioritize my health so that I can avoid this. If the worst happens and it’s not something that I can power through, I will let you know immediately so that we can go over our options. I am involved in a network of photographers that I trust with my life and who would be able to step in for me to shoot your wedding. Once shot, the associate would deliver the unedited images to me so that I am able to do the editing.
can we meet before booking?
Sure! I love to meet with my couples before booking because it gives us a chance to get to know each other. However, what I do ask is that you have your search for a photographer narrowed down and aren’t simply meeting with all of the photographers in the area, because that’s not fair to me or my clients, ya feel? My time is valuable and I want to put it all towards my amazing clients so that they can get the service that they deserve from me.
