Wedding at The Grove | Las Vegas Elopement Photographer

From the very beginning of the day, it was clear that Lee and Summer’s wedding at The Grove was going to be full of heart and a lot of joy. This is one of those Vegas venues that instantly feels special.  So much greenery, soft light filtering through the trees, and just enough calm tucked away from the city. It’s always a favorite of mine, and this day was no exception.

Lee and Summer met through mutual friends and a shared love of a music group.

After dating long distance while Summer finished college, she packed up and moved to Las Vegas to be with Lee. He’s a tattoo artist, she works at UNLV, and when they’re not working, they’re usually at home gaming and hanging out with their two cats. I knew we were going to get along well as soon as I heard that!

Summer wore a strapless gown with a soft tulle skirt and delicate lace details. So timeless, but still very unique to her. Lee went classic in a black suit with thoughtful accessories, including custom cuff links that tied into their personal style. The bridesmaids wore deep red dresses that popped beautifully against the greenery, and everything felt cohesive without being overdone.

A Sunny, Heartfelt Day at The Grove

The ceremony space was set beneath the trees, with rows of dark wooden chairs and a simple wooden arbor dressed in florals. The sunlight was perfect. Warm, but not harsh. A photographer’s dream. One of those days when everything just works so beautifully.

Their first look was quiet and sweet, followed by portraits winding through the paths and trees. This is where The Grove really shines. There are so many little pockets that feel intimate and natural, which makes portraits feel relaxed instead of rushed. It’s a stark contrast to the electric energy and urban feel that belongs with most Vegas weddings.

These two curated personal details were everywhere throughout their day.

Their cake featured custom toppers inspired by their cats. Guests received stickers with nods to their favorite things. And when it was time to party with their friends for the reception, they kept everything light-hearted and fun. Including, playing the shoe game, which had everyone laughing. And the dance floor filled up fast once the music started.

As the sun set and the party stayed indoors, the energy stayed high. From cake cutting to late night dancing, the whole day felt easy and joyful.

Lee and Summer created a wedding that reflected who they are and the life they’re building together, and celebrating it at The Grove couldn’t have been a better fit.
