Save the Dates
Most couples send out save the dates, and what better way than to include an engagement photo of the two of you. It makes your save the dates a little extra special. Plus, who doesn’t love having an updated picture on all their friends and family’s fridges?
Meet your photographer
It’s so important to click with your photographer (no pun intended…). On your wedding day you’ll be spending most of the day with this person, like sometimes 8+ hours! So if you don’t mesh, it’s vital to figure that out before the big day.
Get comfortable
Unless you’re a professional model, which most of us aren’t, you probably don’t spend a ton of time in front of a camera. Engagement photos are a great way to get comfortable moving, kissing, and being in love all in front of a camera.
Casual photos
Let’s be real, most people don’t get professional photos taken that often. That’s why it’s so special to have photos where you look like your casual/everyday selves. Because obviously we want the glitzed up version of you on your wedding day documented! But the Tuesday date night vibes are also important to capture.
Display the photos
I can’t say enough good things about printing your engagement photos and displaying them at your wedding. It adds such a personalized touch to the day. From making them into a guest book to incorporating them into table decor, there’s so much that can be done to sprinkle them into your wedding day.
