When Amanda and Rae reached out about their Sure Thing Chapel wedding, I was immediately excited! Vegas is a place where they shared great memories, and they couldn’t wait to come back to get married in a place that was so special to them.
As we were getting to know each other, Amanda shared that about a year into their friendship, they realized that they were soulmates. These two best friends and soulmates headed to Vegas to share more good times together getting married with close friends and family.
No ceremony at Sure Thing Chapel is complete without Lady Elvis as the officiant. It was only fitting that she made her appearance at Amanda and Rae’s wedding, too. They got married in front of the iconic lit-up pink heart and pink velvet curtain. Rae looked stunning in her white halter-neck gown with her hair down and softly curled. Amanda rocked a sleek black suit and black shirt, with her hair slicked back behind her ears.
One important detail for them was the bouquet. They wanted it to reflect the lesbian flag as a nod to their love story. It was full of bright oranges and pinks, with touches of greenery. It also included some mini disco balls, which was the perfect Vegas touch.
After the ceremony, we had time for some newlywed portraits. We captured some really sweet moments. All the guests cleared out of the chapel, and the main lights were turned off. In the glow of the pink heart and a disco ball, they had some time to just soak in their wedding day. They kissed, they danced, and they spent some time together, just the two of them. The vibe was intimate with a little Vegas flair.
They ended the night with a streamer exit and hopped on a party bus with their guests. Amanda and Rae’s Sure Thing Chapel Wedding was the perfect mix of personal touches and Vegas lights. I hope these pictures always remind you of your incredible day and the love you share!
