Amy and Jason got married 10 years ago but never had a real wedding. When they knew they were coming to Las Vegas for their son’s hockey tournament, they planned a fun Las Vegas Elopement at Seven Magic Mountains and Fremont Street.
With a couple of weeks of planning, Amy and Jason pulled it all together! They totally leaned into the fun, colorful Vegas vibes with their wedding day looks. Amy actually made Jason’s pink suit and ordered her pink wig from Amazon.
They contacted me 2 days before their elopement after their original photographer had a family emergency! I’m so glad things worked out because Amy and Jason were such an amazing couple to hang out with. After 10 years of marriage, they continue to keep each other laughing and smiling.
Their priority was fun wedding photos on Fremont Street, so that’s where we started! We walked up Fremont Street and hit up some of my favorite spots for portraits. Amy’s silver sequined dress and Jason’s pink suit were the perfect looks with all the bright and colorful backgrounds Fremont Street offers.
Next, we headed out to Seven Magic Mountains for their sunset elopement ceremony. The Gypsy Mobile Minister conducted their ceremony with their children standing beside them. Their first kiss photo is one of my favorites! Their son is making a “grossed out” face and it’s hilarious. As the sun was setting, we took portraits among the vibrant rocks at Seven Magic Mountains.
Seven Magic Mountains is an art installation by the Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone. It’s about 10 miles south of Las Vegas or a 25-minute drive from The Strip. It is free and open to the public, so no reservations are required. Seven Magic Mountains is a super popular tourist spot, so it can be very busy! Seven Magic Mountains is an amazing location for a small elopement or for engagement photos. You can find more details on the website here.
Enjoy a glimpse into Amy and Jason’s Las Vegas elopement!
