Fun-Filled Celebration at Sure Thing | Las Vegas Wedding Photographer

A fun-filled celebration like Sammi and Steven’s day is exactly why Vegas weddings will always have my heart. From the start, the plans for this beautiful day felt relaxed and personal. Nothing felt rushed or performative. It was the kind of day that just let everyone be themselves. As a Las Vegas wedding photographer, this made it really fun to document!

I arrived at Sure Thing Chapel in the afternoon to meet up with them.

The vibe was already buzzing. Surely the Showgirl was their officiant, which honestly set the tone right away. Talk about playful and iconic! It reminded me of Hellvis vibes!  Before the ceremony even began, Sammi and Steven hopped into the photo booth for some fun pictures And then we they did makeup touch ups in the iconic mint bathroom, and we got some fun photos in there too. It was such a fun way to kick things off while guests got settled. Laughter everywhere. Big smiles. Zero nerves.

Sammi wore a classic white gown that felt timeless, and very her. Clean lines. A structured bodice and beautiful veil. Steven kept it sharp in a dark suit that fit the Vegas setting perfectly. Polished, but not overly formal. They were quite the picture together!

The ceremony itself was short and sweet! But, everything they wanted it to be! Then right back to the photobooth for post-ceremony photos and celebrating with their loved ones. It felt like a party from the very first moment, not just a ceremony followed by a reception. And I loved the vibe of the whole day. I mean, you’re getting married!! Making it fun is essential in my book!

Next up in their fun-filled celebration? A trip down Fremont Street and then off to a retro dream house!

After Sure Thing Chapel, we headed to downtown Fremont. It had just rained, which is rare for Vegas. The clouds gave the softest light, and the streets had that fresh, just-after-the-rain glow. We wandered under the Fremont canopy, soaking in the energy of the city. Neon lights and curious onlookers, our visual staples for downtown Vegas!

Afterwards, we went to their reception, which was held at an Airbnb. And honestly, it was incredible. 10/10, no notes.

It was vintage vibes everywhere you looked.

And the perfect spot for a post-chapel celebration. From the bar out by the pool, to the dance floor in the “living room”.

Guests mingled, drinks were flowing and music played. At one point, Sammi and Steven did a Labubu toss instead of a bouquet toss, which felt very on brand for the day.

The night ended with dancing, cake, and all the collective joy in the world.

This fun-filled celebration was never about tradition for tradition’s sake. It was about joy, connection, and doing things their way. And honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect.
