Haley and Alex’s wedding day was epic from getting ready at the Bellagio to their Juno Garden ceremony (and all the way through late night In-N-Out!!)
It started with getting ready in Haley’s room at the hotel.
Where the room was filled with soft morning light to start the day. Everyone was excited, and I could feel that the moment I stepped into the space. I love the pre-wedding jitter vibes!
Haley slipped into a sleek off the shoulder gown with a fitted silhouette and a high side slit that showed off her sparkly heels. She looked every inch the classic bride. Her hair was styled in soft waves and she had the prettiest pearl earrings. This whole look set the tone for a modern Las Vegas wedding.
They chose to do their first look right outside the suite. The second Alex turned around, he had this huge grin that did not leave his face all day. Haley tried not to cry, but the happy tears came anyway. (Honestly, even I tear up during most first looks!! It’s such a beautiful part of the day!)
Before heading out to their ceremony, we took a few almost-married portraits around the Bellagio. I’m a sucker for a great elevator shot.
Then, we went down for their meaningful Ceremony at Juno Garden.
The ceremony was everythingggg Haley and Alex had been dreaming about. It’s a space that feels like a little oasis right in the middle of the Strip. Tall palms, lush greenery, and clean white paths in Juno Garden made everything feel soft and bright. Their friends and family gathered together on the lawn, and watched Haley and Alex exchange the sweetest vows. (After Elvis made his grand entrance, of course!) The light was perfect, which I appreciated as a wedding photographer. These two said “I Do” and the whole group erupted in to cheers. And Alex dipped her for a kiss on their walk back down the aisle.
After the ceremony, we made a quick stop at the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign.
It was iconic and playful all at once. There were people everywhere, but these two were in their own newlywed-bliss world. Their outfits looked amazing in the golden hour light too. Haley’s dress moved beautifully in the breeze, and Alex’s black patterned jacket added the perfect touch of texture to their cohesivel look.
Then it was back to the Bellagio for a quick change (but an impactful one 😉
When Haley walked into their room, she saw that it had been completely decorated for them as a surprise. Gold balloons. Rose petals. A heart made out of candles on the bed. It was the sweetest gesture from the hotel to celebrate with them!
After noticing the decor, Haley went straight for the bathroom. She had a few tricks up her sleeve. She wanted to chop her hair before the reception. Not “after the wedding”. Not next week. Right then.
So we did it. She sat down in the bathroom while a friend got out the scissors. Alex got to make the first chop!! It was such a fun, private, special moment. I loved capturing it all.
Once the haircut was done, Haley slipped into a sparkly mini dress covered in sequins. Alex changed into a fun tuxedo graphic tee. They looked ready for a night out in Vegas celebrating the “holy sh*t we just got married!!!” moment.
What do you do after getting married, getting a haircut, and changing into party outfits?! You go to In-N-Out. They grabbed burgers and fries and sat outside laughing like teenagers.
From the getting ready suite, to Juno Gardens, to their epic hair chop and grabbing burgers at night… this day was everything special. And everything I dream about as a Las Vegas wedding photographer. Thank you for choosing me to be yours.
