Where To Get an Elopement Cake | Las Vegas Wedding Photographer

Okay, let’s talk about one of my absolute favorite add-ons: Elopement Cake!

Just because you’re eloping doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate with a little extra special custom treat! Whether you’re saying “I do” in a Vegas chapel, downtown on Fremont, or out in the desert…  bringing a cake (or even a cookie cake!) instantly makes your day feel extra special. And adds such a fun photo moment, which you know I LOVE as a Las Vegas wedding photographer.

Why You Should Bring an Elopement Cake to Your Big Day:

I loooove when couples customize their big day. And bringing a celebratory treat is a great way to do that. It’s one of those simple touches that makes your day feel like yours. You can pop a bottle of champagne, slice into your cute little cake, and have your own private “reception” moment.

Plus, if you’re eloping in Las Vegas, you’ve got so many fun options to choose from. Some couples go full retro Elvis-style with red dice and playing cards, others keep it chic and classic with white frosting and tiny toppers. And then there are couples like the ones who brought a giant heart-shaped cookie cake that said “Viva Las Medzerians”. Which, yes, tasted as good as it looked.

My Favorite Las Vegas Elopement Cake Shops

Whether you want vintage-inspired, modern and minimal, or a full-on Vegas theme, here are a few of my go-to bakeries that always deliver (literally and creatively):

  • Mary’s Cakes LV – Adorable, custom cakes that look straight out of a movie. So many fun design options!
  • Wee Little Cakes – Perfect if you want something small but mighty. Great for single-tier or mini heart cakes.
  • Las Vegas Custom Cakes – Classic, clean designs that photograph beautifully.
  • Winston Marie Cakes – Dreamy textures and colors if you’re going for something more elevated.
  • Freed’s Bakery – A Vegas staple! These are the legends behind that heart-shaped cookie cake I mentioned earlier.

Prop Ideas That Fit the Vegas Vibe

If you’re eloping in Vegas, you might as well lean into the vibe! Bring a deck of cards, dice, or vintage car details for your setup. Whether it’s a retro diner table, your hotel suite, or a neon-lit dive bar, elopement cake photos always bring a little nostalgia and a lot of personality. (And they look so dang good in photos.)

So yeah, moral of the story: if you’re planning your big day in Vegas… bring the sweets.

Your elopement deserves to feel like a celebration, even if it’s just the two of you (and me third-wheeling with my camera haha). So grab a fork, cut that cake, and let’s make it a moment worth remembering.
