Being able to travel to Ireland for Meghan and Jimmy’s cliffside Dunluce Castle wedding was an actual treat. Everything about this day seemed perfect. Even the weather, that was supposed to be gross all day, turned into a beautiful day that only rained when we were driving from one spot to the next. I mean, how much more perfect could ya get?
Europa Hotel
The day started at the Europa Hotel where Meghan and Jimmy got ready for the day. It really set the tone for exactly how their wedding day would go. As a Las Vegas photographer, I always find it to be such a special treat to travel for weddings. And this day was no exception to this.
Dunluce Castle Wedding
We love an intimate ceremony, especially one on a cliffside. Take a moment and think of how romantic this ceremony was. Between the wonderful words exchanged, the backdrop, and the wind blowing, it really took everyone’s breath away. And I love the way they literally tied the knot at the end (check out that gif!).
Dark Hedges
The trees here at The Dark Hedges really speak for themselves but let me try to put it into words anyway. Imagine being lost in a magical woodland where fairies and elves live. That’s kind of how this felt. The photos, of course, ended up absolutely gorgeous because naturally, you add 2 beautiful people to a wild background and you get complete magic.
Downtown Belfast
The last stop of the day was downtown Belfast where we were greeted by a lovely rainbow in the sky. If that isn’t a good omen, I don’t know what is. It really wrapped up the day in a perfect little bow.
After all was said and done, I think we can agree that this Dunluce Castle Wedding outside of Belfast, Ireland was one for the record books. It’s definitely one that will stand out in my memory since it was actually on my birthday. What a great birthday present to spend the day with lovely people in a stunning place!
This wedding was second shot for Jenni Photo Co.
