So, you’re thinking about getting married in Vegas? Heck yeah! Whether you’re eloping or planning something bigger, picking the right time of year is key. As a Wedding Photographer, I’ve seen it all—so let’s talk about the best time to get married in Las Vegas!

Summer: It’s HOT. No, Really.
Listen, I can’t stress this enough—Nevada summers are next-level hot. Like, step outside and immediately start sweating: hot. If you’re dreaming of a summer wedding, make sure it’s indoors with some solid A/C (check out some of my favorite venues here!), and plan for a later time, like sunset or even after dark. Otherwise, you and your guests might just melt!

The Sweet Spot: Spring & Fall
Spring and Fall are hands down the best time to get married in Vegas. Specifically, March to mid-May and late September to November have the best weather—warm but not too warm. The seasons have been shifting a little lately (thanks, climate change), so just know that early spring and late fall are your safest bets.

Heads-Up About F1 & Other Events
If you’re aiming for a Fall wedding, keep in mind that F1 is now a thing in Vegas, happening mid-November. Construction on the Strip starts in October, meaning road closures, traffic nightmares, and blocked views. Not ideal for wedding photos, right?
And don’t forget to check for other big events like EDC and When We Were Young—our city gets crazy during those times, and you don’t want to fight the crowds or deal with sky-high hotel prices. Just something to consider when thinking about the best time to get married in Las Vegas

Winter: Underrated but Cool (Literally)
Winter weddings in Vegas? Totally doable! December through February means cooler temps, and while it does get a bit chilly at night, at least you won’t be sweating your face off. Plus, a chic fur coat? Yes, please. Just bring a layer or two, and you’ll be golden.

At the end of the day, the best time to get married in Vegas depends on what vibe you’re going for.
If you want mild weather and fewer logistical headaches, spring and fall are where it’s at. And if you need local Las Vegas wedding photographer who knows all the best spots (and how to dodge the tourist traps), I got you!
Oh, and by the way—the images in this post were taken at the iconic Little White Chapel in Las Vegas. It’s one of my favorite spots for dreamy, intimate elopements! Let’s make some magic happen!
