Ashley and Ben are in love with the Las Vegas area and knew they wanted a Canyon Engagement session! They reached out before any wedding plans had even been set and booked their day in the Red Rocks. As a Las Vegas wedding photographer, I am ALWAYS down for these sessions. It never gets old shooting in this beautiful place. It is a regular hiking spot for Ashley & Ben, so it made perfect sense to have their photo shoot in a place they are so familiar with!

We met up on a sunny day and had the perfect cloud cover for their photos! Ashley picked two different outfits for their session, so we had variety in the final gallery. I always recommend this for my couples sessions! Their first look was a little more formal, with Ashley in a little white dress (a fun nod to her bridal era!) and Ben in a navy blue suit & tie. They looked SO darn good together! And were perfectly contrasted with the red canyons behind them!

I swear, their whole Canyon Engagement Session, we laughed and hiked and had the BEST time. I love my adventurous Nevada couples who are down to have a fun time for pictures!

These two met in a boxing gym and really hit it off! They started dating, and a year later, Ashley said YES to marrying Ben! They are currently planning their big day in October but couldn’t wait to capture their love in one of their favorite places. Ashley is from Michigan and Ben is from Kansas, but now they both call Las Vegas home together.

Their second outfit was a more casual fit in darker colors. I loved Ashley’s dark green sweater with denim. It coordinated perfectly with Ben’s black button-down shirt. These two nailed it with their outfits!

Their love is palpable and so authentic. You can just feel it in the air when you’re around them! I loved capturing their dynamic, and the excitement they’re feeling leading up to their big day.

Remind me to never stop shooting Canyon Engagement sessions – they are simply the best.
