Teal and Casey showed up to their Punk Rock Museum wedding ready to party! As a Las Vegas wedding photographer, I’ve seen my fair share of unique locations and ceremonies. This one was definitely up there!
Teal and Casey have been together for 14 years and engaged for 6. They finally decided to tie the knot with just a few family members at the Punk Rock Museum. The kicker is that their ceremony was officiated by Fat Mike, the lead singer of NOFX. This is one of Casey’s FAVORITE bands, so when they saw he would be performing ceremonies at the museum, they jumped on the opportunity!!
The ceremony was great, complete with a song written just for them and some… less than kid-friendly props. It was the perfect ceremony for the venue and the officiant. The bride and groom had so much fun with it, and there were such great vibes. The whole thing was so laid back, just like Teal and Casey. It just felt right.
We had a bit of time to explore the museum after the ceremony before heading to Fremont Street. Of course, we hit all the usual iconic spots along Fremont. Being there in the afternoon has a totally different feel from nighttime. There is still some of that Las Vegas glitz, but it’s a little toned down without all the lights at nighttime. It felt right for the vibe of their whole day and how relaxed they are.
The couple portraits were such a fun time. One of the things I like best about photographing in Las Vegas is that we just get to hang out after your wedding, and I happen to be taking pictures of you. Teal and Casey were having so much fun and just enjoying the moment. They were totally ready to party, and the Punk Rock Museum was the absolute perfect venue for their wedding.
