In October I traveled to Arizona for Kyle and Dawson’s Phoenix wedding at Boojum Tree Hidden Gardens! I first met Kyle and Dawson through another Arizona couple, Matt and Nicole, whose wedding I photographed at Bella Rose Estate a few years ago! I was so excited to hang out with them on their wedding day and to see some familiar faces too!

Boojum Tree Wedding  

Boojum Tree is a garden wedding venue in Phoenix. Kyle and Dawson loved how unique this venue is and all the greenery from the plants and trees! Boojum Tree can host up to 200 people, but could be the perfect setting for a small, intimate wedding too. They host open houses on Tuesday nights and have pricing info on their website!

Boojum Tree is such a fascinating venue because every corner has the potential to make a great photo! It’s a photographer’s dream! I always love getting out of Vegas to photograph a wedding in a new location, so I had been looking forward to Kyle and Dawson’s wedding. Working in new places always gets my creative juices flowing!

Getting Married at Boojum Tree in Phoenix  

The day of Kyle and Dawson’s wedding I started by exploring the property and then started on detail photos! Next, I took photos of Kyle and Dawson getting ready together and then having a first look with their parents. 

They walked with each other down the aisle for their outdoor ceremony in the plaza. After the ceremony, we went to a few places around the venue for portraits and then headed back so the couple could join cocktail hour! 

Next, we went to the indoor garden for the reception where speeches were given by both sets of their parents and their wedding party members. After dinner, everyone headed to the outdoor reception space and kept the dance floor full! As the night came to an end they did a sparkler exit! 

Overall, it was a beautiful day celebrating Kyle and Dawson! Enjoy a glimpse of their wedding day!
