Joe and Jenny’s engagement photos at Valley of Fire outside of Las Vegas are unreal! There is something about the red rocks and desert scenery at Valley of Fire that creates the best backdrop for engagement photos!
It all started in September of 2021 when I got an inquiry from Joe to photograph his surprise proposal to Jenny at the Bellagio. A year later they came back to Las Vegas for an engagement session at Valley of Fire!
If you’re wanting to get away from the hustle of the strip and downtown Las Vegas, then I highly recommend checking out the Valley of Fire. Whether you’re looking for a place to explore or for a photo location, the desert scenery is STUNNING and feels like you’re in a whole other world.
For Jenny and Joe’s session we walked around to some different spots within the park. Pizza is something they enjoy eating together, so they brought along a box for some for their photos! Finding ways to personlize your engagement photos to represent your relationship always adds more depth or simply more fun to your session.
Valley of Fire is about an hour drive from Las Vegas and is a Nevada State Park. For sessions at Valley of Fire, a permit is required and the permit needs to be a applied for 6 weeks ahead of time. Planning in advance is key for this location! The temperature can get really hot in the summer (hence the name), so photos at Valley of Fire are best during spring or fall! If you’re thinking of eloping at Valley of Fire, be sure to check out my blog post here with details you’ll need to know!
