If you’re looking for a getaway car moment after eloping, Taylor and Cris are about to give you allll the inspiration you need. From the second I saw Taylor’s veil and Cris’s scorpion loafers, I KNEW this was going to be a good one.
These two brought so much personality to their Sure Thing Too elopement, and you know I am always here for couples who aren’t afraid to have a little fun with their wedding day.
A Sweet Ceremony at Sure Thing Too
These two lovebirds said “I do” surrounded by a small group of their favorite people at Sure Thing Too. The chapel was the perfect backdrop with its baby blue draping, pink velvet swags, giant heart, and over-the-top vintage details.
Taylor wore a simple satin gown with a beautiful lace-edged veil that quickly became one of my favorite details of the day. Cris wore a dusty pink suit with a coordinating tie and the coolest loafers with a little scorpion on top. Seriously. The details were so good.

After the ceremony, we wandered through the chapel for newlywed portraits. We hit all the good spots, including the pink bathroom with its mirrored walls, ornate gold mirror, velvet curtains, and seriously fun retro glam energy.
I’ve gotten to take portraits at this chapel more than a few times! If you like the vibe of their portraits, make sure to check out another elopement from Sure Thing Too here!
I loved that these two had their besties and family around for more of a “micro wedding” vibe. I’ve photographed dozens of weddings in Vegas and I love when my couples design a day that’s completely themselves. Whether that’s eloping just the two of you, or throwing a big wedding (and anything in between).
The whole point is doing something YOU love. Make the plans that you’ll cherish looking back on as memories.

The Getaway Car Moment
Once we had thoroughly explored the chapel and gotten all their newlywed photos, it was time to head outside.
Their friends lined up to create a little tunnel for their exit, which was basically the perfect transition into the next part of the day. Then Taylor and Cris hopped into the vintage red convertible available through Sure Thing.
And WOW.
The car, the Travelers Motel sign, the sunshine, the Fremont Street surroundings. It was all so perfectly Vegas. We played around with portraits beside the car, inside the car, and even grabbed a few frames from behind as they drove off into the afternoon.
I like to imagine these getaway car pictures are the ones they’ll frame on their living room wall one day 🙂

Taylor and Cris also opted for 35mm and Super 8 coverage, which was such a fun addition to their day.
The film photos fit their vintage-inspired aesthetic perfectly. A little grain, a little nostalgia!! Really brings the whole day together. And getting to have a wedding video to watch year after year on your anniversary is always a good move in my book.
