If you’ve ever wondered whether an after dark elopement could be even more fun than a traditional daytime wedding, Shannon and Jack are here to make a very convincing case!!
These two flew all the way from the UK to finally make their longtime Vegas elopement dreams a reality!! I was so honored to capture their big day. They’ve been together for 12 years, and they’ve known the entire time that one day they would elope in Vegas. This was that day!!
This is what Shannon sent me when she inquired:
“We’re both from the UK and first met as teens working at a fun park in our seaside town. We’ve been together for 12 years and engaged since 2018 (he proposed in Walt Disney World which is our fave place to go to). After all these years, we’re finally tying the knot and we’ve always said we’d elope to Vegas, even when we were teenagers!
Our perfect date ideas are a mix of outdoorsy and chilled, our fave date days are either visiting National Parks or just bed-rotting and binging TV shows. We made it “Facebook official” on June 10th 2013, and now 13 years later we’d love to get married on June 10th, 2026. It will just be Jack and I, we want our day to be very intimate!”

Their intimate, after dark elopement at Little White Chapel was everything they dreamed about and more.
We started the evening at the chapel where Shannon and Jack! We took portraits right after the sun had set, before their ceremony time started. I photograph here in the sunshine pretty regularly (like this fun day!), so it was fun to capture this space in the evening.
These two had their ceremony in the iconic pink Cadillac.
And fun little Vegas fact for you: this was actually Elvis’s Cadillac, which he gifted to the chapel! Would you get married in Elvis’ car??!
Shannon and Jack were all about it! They were beaming the entire time. 13 years in the making, and they were finally becoming newlyweds!! It was such an honor to capture these moments for them.
I feel this with every nuptial I document, but it’s always true. I know what a huge moment this is for you. You’ll remember these moments for the rest of your life. And providing you tangible memories is such a beautiful thing to me.

An After Dark Elopement Is So SO Much Fun! Consider this your sign!
By the time these two were OFFICIALLY MARRIED (!!!!), the sun had completely set & the whole city started to glow. This is one of my favorite things about photographing an at night in Las Vegas. You get all of the neon signs, flashing lights, vintage Vegas details, and general chaos that make this city what it is. And I love it all!!
We wandered around Fremont Street, taking photos under bright signs and outside some of the most recognizable spots downtown.
Shannon and Jack were so easy to photograph. Their decade + together gave them such an ease in front of the camera. They laughed, held hands, kissed, and basically just bopped around the city like newlyweds should.
After all that walking around, we wrapped up the evening with drinks at the Carousel Bar.
Because obviously, you can’t spend your wedding night wandering around Vegas without stopping for a celebratory drink!
The whole night was intimate and playful. It was truly special to me to have a front row seat to a day that had been such a long time coming for these two.
