When these two reached out to me from New Orleans to ask me to photograph their Sure Thing Chapel elopement, I was immediately excited. I mean… wouldn’t you be? This is the email that landed in my inbox!
We’re two New Orleans weirdos who decided Vegas with Hellvis was the perfect way to get hitched.
We’re fun, a little chaotic in a good way, and totally obsessed with your style. Your photos feel alive and fun, and that’s exactly what we want. We live in the French Quarter and spend our time going to parades, seeing live music, and watching way too many horror movies with our pets.
I mean… sign me up. Immediately. Right now.
We had the BEST day at Sure Thing with Hellvis. I have photographed a few days with Hellvis (like this one!) and they’re always so much fun.

When Jackie & Ryan were first telling me about their dream Vegas day, we chatted all about what they were wanting from the experience.
They love the trashy Americana vibe that is everywhere you look here in this amazing city. So they were open to anything! They knew their ceremony would be just the two of them in classic elopement style. And then they decided they wanted to get tattoos to commemorate the day together!
So when they arrived from New Orleans and it was time for their big day, they felt confident they had a plan that felt really organically true to who they are.
After their ceremony with Hellvis, we stayed around Sure Thing to capture those iconic couples photos. From the Photo Booth to the blue bathroom, we got all the fun “WE JUST GOT MARRIED!!!” pictures that they will look back on in the years to come. And yes, Hellvis joined in to photo bomb everything (and we freakin’ loved every second!)

After we were done at the chapel, we grabbed a quick snack before they headed over to get tattoos!
They chose to get little matching coffins on their ring fingers to perfectly remember their day. To be honest, I’m not sure it get more iconic Vegas than that!
These two were so clear on what they were hoping for from their experience, and I think that really helped them have the elopement of their dreams; all the way from New Orleans to Vegas.
Back home, they planned to have a big Tiki themed party with all their friends and family, but this day was just for the two of them. And it was perfect.

After tattoos were done, we popped champagne at Atomic Liquors and they got a celebratory drink!
It was the perfect ending to the perfect elopement.
The outfits, the vibes… everything about this elopement was, well, everything. A Hellvis wedding is always a good time in my book.
Congratulations to Jackie & Ryan! Thank you for choosing me to be your Las Vegas wedding photographer!
