This is Why You Should Consider Red Rock Wedding Portraits… | Las Vegas Elopement Photographer

I’ve been WAITING to show you this epic elopement!! From their nuptials at Sure Thing Too… all the way to their Red Rocks wedding portraits: we had the BEST DAY.

These two met while working at a summer camp in Canada back in 2018. After spending time long distance between countries, they eventually settled in Edinburgh together and built a life side by side. And then? They flew to Vegas to CELEBRATE their love in the bet way.

They opted for a private day, with just one guest in attendance, (Amy’s father). The entire day felt incredibly personal.

First things first? A sweet ceremony at Sure Thing Too

I absolutely love photographing at Sure Thing Too. (This is another wedding from the same venue earlier this year!!) The space has such a fun personality while still feeling intimate and meaningful for smaller weddings and elopements.

Amy looked stunning in a sleek ivory gown that was every bit the timeless bride. Mason wore a light blue tuxedo that could not have matched the vibe more perfectly. It added such a fun pop of color and fit the playful Vegas energy without feeling over the top.

The ceremony itself was short, sweet, and full of emotion. Exactly the way they wanted it.

Here’s why so many couples love Sure Thing Too (and why you should save it on your list of dream Vegas venues!):

  • Perfect for intimate weddings and elopements
  • Fun vintage-inspired Vegas atmosphere
  • Beautiful natural light
  • Relaxed and stress-free experience
  • Great location for continuing your wedding adventure afterward

Next Up? Red Rock Wedding Portraits

After the ceremony, we headed out to Red Rock for photos, and this is always one of my favorite parts of any big day. Newlywed portraits just have a certain kind of magic! You’re glowing, I promise!!

Another reason I love pairing an iconic Vegas chapel ceremony with Red Rock wedding portraits is how much variety it adds to your gallery. Within the same wedding day, you get the charm and funky personality of Las Vegas along with the dramatic beauty of the Nevada desert.

Win-win.

As someone who has photographed hundreds of elopements and weddings in Vegas, I can’t recommend a little side-trek adventure enough!

It’s so fun to drive out of the city and end the day with an epic portraits in the desert.

Ending the Night on Fremont Street!

To finish the day, we headed to Fremont Street just as the sun was beginning to set. The neon lights started glowing, the energy picked up, and the city came alive as it always does!

It was the perfect contrast to the quiet desert moments earlier in the day. They really did get the best of everything Vegas has to offer.

From a heartfelt ceremony with family to adventurous desert portraits and iconic Vegas lights, Amy and Mason created a celebration that felt uniquely theirs.
