When it comes to a Vegas wedding day, Sure Thing Chapel was the perfect fit for Lexie and Sam. Not only was it a stylish, fun-as-hell day, but it also included a wedding-day chop! And I’m SUCH a fan of those!! This was the third time I’ve had a bride chose to have a haircut in her big day, and I’m all for it.
Lexie and Sam first met in high school, dated for a year, and then went their separate ways for college.
For many couples, that’s the end of their story. But for these two, they were destined to find their way back to each other. Fast-forward ten years later, they’re getting married.
It was so fun to celebrate this milestone in Vegas with them!!
The second they showed up, I knew the day was going to be good. But somehow, they still exceeded every expectation. Their energy was contagious from start to finish. Everyone showed up ready to celebrate, laugh, dance, and fully lean into the Vegas magic.
And can we talk about the outfits for a second?
Lexie absolutely stunned in a custom mini dress. Lexie had a vision for this dress, and her seamstress brought it to life! The structured silhouette with a peek-a-boo underskirt, paired with her bright red heels was suuuuchh a vibe. Sam matched her energy perfectly in a dark green suit jacket with western-inspired details and bold florals. Together, they looked like they stepped straight out of a vintage Vegas love story.
Even the guests understood the assignment. Every person there looked incredible. It felt stylish and cohesive. Just a group of people genuinely excited to celebrate their favorite couple.
Sure Thing Chapel is always a winner!

From the iconic altar setup with the light up pink heart, to the dreamy blue bathroom and the nostalgic photo booth, every corner is photo-worthy. It had that perfect mix of retro charm and modern style that made the whole day feel relaxed and fun.
And now? It was time for the wedding-day chop!!!
We stopped by the barber shop nearby and Lexie confidently bounced into the chair and requested a haircut for her big day. They were super excited to help her bring this to life.
She chose a mid-length long bob for her second look, and it was so. damn. classy.
I’ll never get over the fun that is a wedding-day chop. Who doesn’t want a new hairstyle to signal a new era!?! We all do!
After the wedding-day chop, everyone headed over to Ferguson’s Downtown for the reception, which was the perfect next stop for the celebration.
Their guests were there to hype up the new haircut, dance the afternoon away and enjoy cocktails under the palm trees.
Lexie also changed into a second dress for the reception, and honestly, I still can’t decide which look I loved more. She absolutely pulled off both perfectly.
This entire day felt so true to them from beginning to end.
Think: relaxed, joyful, stylish, and completelyyy unforgettable. This was the kind of celebration that reminds you weddings do not have to follow traditions to feel meaningful. Sometimes all you need is your favorite people, a little Vegas chaos, a wedding-day chop and the magic of Sure Thing Chapel.
