Have you ever thought: “Wait… can we get married in Vegas and get matching tattoos after?”… well, this is your sign: YES. Absolutely! Take my word for it: getting tattoos at your elopement will instantly make the whole day feel even more like you.
These two met at a rave in Seattle three years ago. After a year and a half of long distance, countless festivals, and lots of tattoo inspiration shared back and forth, they made it official in Las Vegas in the coolest way possible.
The second I showed up to Sure Thing Chapel and saw their outfits, I knew this was going to be such a fun night.
Natalie wore the dreamiest off-the-shoulder gown with layers of soft ruffles and a green floral print. It felt romantic, a little whimsical, and totally unexpected – but in the best way. She paired it with a short veil, and bright red roses.
Noah wore black pants and a black blazer over a patterned button up that felt straight out of a vintage rock show.
Between the red shoes, the jewelry, and all of their tattoos, these two nailed the vibe for their big day.

A Ceremony at Sure Thing Chapel
Their ceremony took place at Sure Thing Chapel in front of the iconic glowing heart. I photograph here often! It’s a favorite as you can see here and here). Still not tired of it!!
The classic pink velvet curtains and tiny rows of pink chairs make everything feel familiar. And my artistic brain immediately clocks in: it’s wedddiiinnnnng time!
Color me excited every single time I step foot in the chapel.
After Natalie and Noah said “I do,” they shared a first dance right there in the chapel. Then we took group photos before wandering outside for portraits under all the neon.

Getting Tattoos At Your Elopement
Then we headed to Downtown Tattoo!
Cue the bright neon signs of the shop making everything exciting. Every wall (and even the ceiling!) – packed with classic tattoo designs.
It was equally nostalgic and novel when you step inside.
We wandered through the shop taking portraits while they laughed, kissed, and soaked it all in. Later, they and some of their guests all got tiny “222” tattoos to celebrate their elopement date. It was such a fun way to remember the day forever.
By the end of the night, we were outside under the glowing Downtown Tattoo sign taking some final photos. They were laughing, kissing, and holding hands like nobody else existed.
And they were MARRIED!!!
It was literally the perfect day, and as a Las Vegas wedding photographer, I was so honored to be there to capture it.
